The Rothes Council project to floodlight the War Memorial came to fruition just before Christmas.
A well attended Dedication Service performed by the Rev Bob Anderson was held on the evening of 31 December 2001.
Thanks go to The Moray Council, MBSE, Walkers of Aberlour, and Baxters of Speyside for their help in funding the project.

Mrs Isabelle Cumming, Gateside, and fellow Rothes users would like to pay tribute to the Moray Companion Talking Tapes for the blind and partially sighted. The stories and snippets of news from the tapes are greatly enjoyed by all. The Moray Companion is developed and provided by the Moray District Talking Newspaper Association, a local to Moray, voluntary group.

Any contributions for the next issue should be sent in by June 9th.
