ROTHES GALA

Chairman Iain Paul thanked all who helped make this year's Gala a success.  He gave special thanks to Shirley French for her work as secretary, P. Paul for acting as treasurer and the Grant Hall Committee for the use of the hall for various activities.

He also extended thanks to all groups and individuals who helped run the various events.
The end of year balance was £3711.97 of which £3000 was to be distributed as agreed.  The Gala Group had also purchased around £900 worth of equipment, including new flags which had been used this year and will be available for use in future years.  Mr. Paul presented cheques to the following:

A further meeting of the Gala Group had to be arranged for 14th January since no-one was prepared to take on the official roles necessary to form a group.  The next meeting is crucial.  Rothes Gala Group needs new members.  Please come along, you help is critical.

GRANT HALL PRIZE BINGO

The Grant Hall annual Prize Bingo raised £450 after expenses.  The committee are indebted to the local business community for their generous donations.
