In 1924 a group of Aberlour 'loons' met in the toilets behind the kirk as there was no where

 else to meet! They formed Aberlour Villa F.C. Peter Taylor was elected as Secretary - little

 did he know he would still be in the same job sixty years later! His first job was to arrange

 a match between the Villa, the name which comes from 'village', and Aberlour Celtic. The

 Villa won the match three goals to one and that was the end of Aberlour Celtic.
